PROMOTION-DEVELOPMENT OF OUR BRANDS

 

Since the beginning of its operating in 1951 the producer Galeb used at presentation of its products the factory logo, as also the entire production assortment was marketed under the Galeb brand. In the past closed market system Galeb was reputed as the untouchable ruler of the market, in particular of men underwear.

 

By opening of market the consumer trends change requesting also changes in offer of products. By the end of 1980 of the 20th century Galeb production assortment introduces the sub-line Adriatic as the reply to the market needs for better quality products of more fashionable cuts. During the 90-ties of 20th century the Adriatic line takes over ever larger portion in sale of Galeb production assortment.

 

By the beginning of the 21st century the fashion trends are quickly changing and young population of buyers creates requesting products manufactured in compliance with world trends in colors, cuts and materials. As the reply to such request of the market Galeb introduced in its offer in the year 2003 the new brand GLB.

 

In the first decade of the 21st Century it was realized that unclearly defined presentation of brands and nondivision of the factory logo Galeb from the logo of Galeb brand led to confusing the market, but also to mistakes in production processes. Due to the stated reasons in the year 2006 we approached rebranding of the production assortment of Galeb. In that process differentiation was made between the producer Galeb and the products under the brand Galeb.

 

The line Adriatic (with the accompanying women's line Adriana) separates itself from the Galeb brand and establishes as an independent brand including both women and men program. The arrangement of articles from the Galeb production program was defined by brands Galeb, Adriatic and GLB. After the stated activities the structure of the stated brands took a more definite shape, as also the guidelines for their development.
